Our range of tents are manufactured to strict quality standards, and with the tent mild steel frames being 'Passivated' (galvanized) to protect them against rusting - we strongly urge our customers wishing to setup tents in close proximity to the ocean, to rather go for our stainless steel frame options in a choice of 304 or 316 grade.

The tents consist of various replaceable components, that can be purchased individually to replace a weathered part of any tent, making it extremely rare that a complete tent ever needs replacement.

The canvas used is woven, and is treated to stringent specifications. The material is highly resistant to ultra-violet rays and is both rot resistant and waterproof, which means that these tents can be used in most climatic conditions, from hot, dry desert environments, high precipitation rain-forests, alongside lakes to the seaside.
The tents have been used in Botswana's Okavango Delta, where some of these camps have been in operation for 20 + years now.

We also supply a 'canvas maintenance compound' which we suggest is applied as part of a general maintenance procedure because it restores to the canvas, the UV protection, anti-rot and water proofing properties, ectending the longevity of the canvas.
This maintenance procedure also restores the original color to the canvas and is painted or rolled onto the canvas.

The tents are modular in design and are erected as semi-permanent accommodation - ideal for conservation areas that prohibit traditional permanent brick and mortar type structures.
The tents are manufactured to overcome the climatic threat of dry desert and semi desert as well as that of humid coastal and high rainfall wetland conditions.
Because the tents are considered "temporary structures" they are also mostly bypass the building codes and restrictions for permanent dwellings.

Setup of the tents is done either on a cement plinth (slab) or wooden decking (preferable) and the entrance to the tents can be designed so as to accommodate your chosen requirements.
We are able to incorporate wood frame doors and windows as an option, we are also able to do various minor custom changes, depending on the particular design tent and the customers requirements.

A unique feature is removable door zips that can be quickly and easily repaired in the field. This ensures a fully and easy serviceable unit at all times.
Our tents are designed to have minimal impact on the natural surroundings and with elevated deck-work the indigenous flora can easily be preserved.

The tents are manufactured in such a way that the tent bodies are securely fastened to the deck or concrete and all doors and windows are protected by fine mesh netting that are insect proof,
ensuring a safe and restful environment within the tent for you or your guests - the windows also incorporate canvas storm flaps.
Complete en-suite bathroom facilities can be incorporated in the design of the unit and various ablution enclosures are possible. Detail to the bathroom and shower area is left to the discretion of the developer.

Depending on the tent design, these tents can be setup anywhere from between 3 hours to one week.
Low voltage solar powered lighting is best suited for our tents, it is inexpensive and easy to install.
